    The Media Consumption Patterns of the Arab Spring Revolutions: A Field Study for the students' Perceptions in the faculty of Journalism and Press at Al-yarmouk University

    The study aimed to identify the media consumption patterns of the Arab Spring revolutions from the viewpoint of Yarmouk University students. In addition to detect whether there is a statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α = 0.05) with respect to the views of respondents regarding employing the study dimensions related to political, military and human dimension due to the variables of the study (sex, educational qualification). The study sample consisted of Yarmouk University students (200) students. The descriptive analytical method was used, through which the following results were concluded: Identifying the media consumption patterns on the Arab Spring.No statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α = 0.05) with respect to the views of respondents about media consumption patterns of the Arab Spring due to the variable of sex.There are no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α = 0.05) with respect to the views of respondents about media consumption patterns around of Arab Spring due to the educational qualification variable. Based on the results of the theoretical and empirical study, the researcher suggests the following: Identify the mechanisms through which media networks broadcast the political propaganda related to the political, military and human dimensions, and the procedures used to do so. Also studying the methods by which the propaganda messages are being broadcast and analyzed, and employing them for the public interest. In addition to analyzing the means by which the propaganda messages are sent whether they are political or other, with focusing on the procedures used to publish them. Finally, identifying the media mechanisms to dedicate the phenomenon of political propaganda based on honesty and objectivity in the media work.

    Journalists' Perceptions towards Employing Artificial Intelligence Techniques in Jordan TV's Newsrooms

    The study aimed to reveal the perceptions of journalists towards employing artificial intelligence techniques in Jordan TV's Newsrooms. The study sample consisted of journalists working in Jordan TV's Newsrooms. The field study was applied to a simple random sample of (106) through the questionnaire tool. The study used the descriptive exploratory approach. The study concluded that there is a clear effect of employing artificial intelligence techniques according to the perceptions of journalists in the newsrooms of Jordan Television, and the presence of differences between the responses of the respondents of the journalists in the reasons why the newsrooms of the Jordanian television are not ready to employ artificial intelligence techniques. In addition to the above, the study indicated that there were no statistically significant differences in the other reasons for the lack of readiness, where the values of X2 (Chi-squared) were not a significant. However, journalists in the newsrooms of Jordan Television possessed various skills, including: using social networks for research, publishing news stories, and automated content production programs. Finally, there were no statistically significant differences between journalists in digital media skills, and the X2 values were not significant at the significance level (0.05), with the exception of info graphic production skills

    The Role of the Official Media Against Circulating Rumors and Media Disinformation About the Corona Pandemic (A'keed Observatory as a Model)

    The study aimed to identify the role of the official media against the circulating rumors and media misinformation about the Corona pandemic, through the Akeed Media Observatory in Jordan. In this study, the researcher adopted the descriptive and analytical approach, as he monitored the role of the A'keed Media Observatory to confront rumors about the Corona pandemic. The study sample was chosen from the media workers in Akeed Observatory, and their number reached (30) media workers, and in order to achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher developed a questionnaire with the aim of identifying the role of the Akeed Media Observatory in Jordan to address rumors about the Corona pandemic, and the study reached a conclusion that the Akeed Media Observatory in Jordan achieved a large and essential role in confronting circulating rumors and disinformation about the Corona pandemic. The study recommended the development of mechanisms and media strategies to address the rumors about the Corona pandemic
